BENEFITS OF PUPPY PRE-SCHOOL

Attending Puppy Pre-School can help your puppy:

  • Develop confidence in new environments

  • Learn appropriate social skills

  • Build positive experiences with handling and training

  • Improve communication with their owner

  • Reduce the risk of behavioural problems later in life

For owners, Puppy Pre-School provides guidance, support and practical advice during one of the most important developmental stages of your puppy’s life.

WHY CHOOSE OUR PUPPY PRE-SCHOOL?

Unlike many puppy classes run solely by veterinary nurses, our trainers Jenny and Marion are trained and accredited through the Delta Institute Australia.

We keep our classes intentionally small, following Delta class size guidelines with a maximum of only 5 puppies per class. This allows each puppy and owner to receive personalised attention and guidance throughout the course.

Our classes are conducted in a calm, supportive and positive environment designed to encourage learning and confidence building for both puppies and owners.

WHEN SHOULD I ENROL MY PUPPY

We sometimes get enquiries from owners about Puppy Pre-School after their puppy has finished their full course of vaccinations as they want to keep them safe. Yes, it is important for their health not to socialise a puppy (outside a puppy school environment) during this time, but be sure not to miss the 8-16 week age period of the class as this is the crucial window for puppy learning.
— Trainer Marion

Classes are specifically designed for puppies aged between 8 and 16 weeks, which is considered the most important socialisation and learning period in a dog’s development.

Research has consistently shown that positive experiences and early training during this stage can have lifelong benefits.

Places are limited due to our small class sizes, so early booking is recommended.
